Kim has developed her talent as a dancer and instructor through a diverse body of work in the
Northwest. Her dance experience started as Captain of the Meridian High School dance team, and later
as a member of the Boise State University Maneline dancers. While living in Oregon for 5 years, Kim
worked both as a dance instructor for a studio, and as the founder and coach for the Summit Dance
team at Eastern Oregon University. Upon her return to Boise in 2000, Kim received numerous awards
for her choreography and dancing as an instructor for Dance Dimensions studio. She has participated
as a faculty teacher at the Boise State University Summer DanceFest with Marla Hansen, and has
enjoyed developing the talents of countless local dancers. Kim is the mother of three children, two of
which participate in dance.
MELISSA LARSON

Melissa is a great example of a versatile American dancer, as she is extremely talented in Jazz, Tap,
Ballet and Modern. She has her B.A. in Dance Arts Performance/Choreography from the University of
Nevada Las Vegas and performed for three years with the Dance Arts Company. She taught jazz, tap,
ballet and modern in Chicago while taking from many known founding fathers of dance. Through
Melissa’s training with Masters of many styles, she has become a choreographer with an eclectic,
unique, exciting style all her own, and enjoys sharing her passion and knowledge of dance to the
inspiring dancers around. Over the past years she has won many choreography awards in national
competitions. Melissa resides in Boise, Idaho with her husband, Kris and is the proud mother of Ashley.
